Full Moon
The first day
I had to keep the endurance impending. It was fifty-five degrees in Dubai. The weather was most terrible weather than I was expecting; the sky was blinding with sunlight. I was wearing a sleeveless shirt, purple eyelet lace and a short khaki skirt.
My mother was driving me to the port with full speed. The tickets were supposed to be on 12:00 this afternoon. “Whoa, mum! You’re rushing so fast I’m dizzy!” said my little favourite sister, her necklace shining with eternity, with the sound like wind chimes.
The last plane arrived, landing slickly against the road. As I looked around to wish my mother goodbye, a stature flew through a murky forest.
“Don’t? Why?” I asked the pilot.
“They don’t work. I mean the toilets flushed down improperly.”
“Oh,” was all I could say.
I was seeing down bellow, as the figure I saw yesterday. But there was a difference. The figure was chasing another figure which flew through the thick forest with full speed. It reminded me of my harebrained, loving mother and my silly, fuzzy pet hare named Cosy. My mother used to be called Amie. She was totally popular with high-skilled racing. She stood up a show of racing cars and eventually won that show. She beat the Car Mania. She wasn’t that quick on a slow car show, but eventually, won too. My father too was a high-skilled racer, but died of alcoholic. Tears were beginning to pool in my eyes but I wiped it off before anyone could notice.
But this figure was as fast as a high-skilled racer. It flew at dangerous speed in the forest. Trees went by in inches. With that, it was fast as the plane on flight.
After ten minutes, a greatest shock flew through me without noticing.
“May I have your tickets?” said a polite voice beside me.
First, I didn’t notice. Second thing, another voice blurted out,
“Excuse me! Can I have your tickets? The bl-” I spun around and saw the man, big man, his skin was tan and very angry. Beside him was vaguely the polite boy, his hair shone like diamonds with the droplets. It was rather rainy, and small voice at the very back of my brain whispered that there was a difference between them both and between everyone else. They were wet through as if they ran in the rain. Maybe they were the two figures I saw. But tough.
No they aren’t! Blurted a voice in the very front of my brain. They’re just normal as human! Other creatures don’t subsist! But that was not what I was prepared for.
Suddenly, without warning, the polite man frowned with an allusion of problem. I stared at him wide open. He was so beautiful I hung my jaw open as if I was so fanatical. Maybe too beautiful. His skin was a perfect colour of honey milk skin. His eyes were a golden sunrise. But an outline of dark marks marked the golden eyes. His honey-sweet breath was as saccharine as ever.
“Excuse me!” I blurted out, as I ran to the toilet. I hope I didn’t vomit in front of that exquisite person. I ran all the way to the toilet, but I didn’t even vomit. I saw him staring at me smiling a crooked smile. He was too beautiful. I stopped half way. I shook my brainy head. I didn’t expected what my body do.
I was shuddering with full energy, as I can’t control my own body. My body went closer to him, my mouth opening. A little thing was stuck in my throat, and I tried to push it in, but it wouldn’t. So I spit it out. “Who are… you? Where….are….you…going…?”
“Ha, ha. You’re scared. The first time we met.”
“You never answered my question.”
“Oh, right. Err, I’m going to Norway.”
“Why are you working? And I too am going to Norway.”
“They say they need help so I helped them. So see you there.”
“What’s your name?”
“Err…. Trickiest one. My name’s…. Germaine, Hart. Yours?”
“……Charlotte, Garrett.”
“What’s that thing on your hand? May I see it?”
I handed him the cactus I brought from Dubai. I’m sure I would miss my mother sometime.
His eyes were wide with curiosity as he played with it.
“You’ve never seen a cactus before?”
“Yes, I never.”
“Careful, it has thorns. Where do you come from?”
“Netherland.”
“You’re lucky.”
“Why?”
“I love snow and cold.”
He laughed so gently and sweetly, I can’t control myself to be away from him. I stayed in my place inches from his beautiful face, not knowing Bradley Johnson was staring at us worriedly.
“Err! I can’t stand it. Why?” I tried to fight it back as I asked the picky sailor.
“I’m sorry madam. There’s nothing we can do.”
“Why did it have broken? Take care of your toilets every time.”
I sat down beside Germaine, as I tried to fight back going to the toilet. I sat uncomfortably on the immense seat, enjoying the day of my life.
“Can I ask you something?”Germaine asked.
“Asked me anything you want and I can answer back courteously.”
I didn’t expected him to asked me this junk question.
“Do you like me? I know you will start running all over your head four this question. But tell me. You promised.”
To my surprise, I suddenly answered, “I like you so much. You are my whole life.” Oh! I should have hit my head and mouth a hundred times.
“Hmm.” He looked at me with very soft blue eyes.
I bit my lip very hard for his consequence.
“I see that. Do you mind…..being my best ever friend?”
Suddenly, I answered stupidly without warning, “I’m sure you’ll kiss me onetime. Well I’m waiting for that.”
He stared at me horror-struck. The look in his eyes left a hint for me to see; He never saw a girl who was this dense as this. He relaxed and smiled my favourite crooked smile after a long minute, while he called the pilot servant.
“Get me a vanilla coke.”
And off went the servant.
“How do you know that I am thirsty?”I asked confidently.
“Easy. Just saw you coughed.”
“You’re high-talented.”
“I can do anything.”
