To the zoo

It was a sunny day this morning. As I planned last night to go to Zoo Negara, I quickly dressed up. I went and ate shell fish with rice and ketchup at Gerai Mak Bedah. It seems like old fashioned, but it tasted delicious and licking the whole plate even though I have no appetite. Alas, I went to the zoo. Well I’ve got lot of things to tell you but anyway, I’ll tell you. First I lined up at the tram line. But then, I saw that people were buying something from there and going to the tram line. My mother saved place in the line for me and my father with me, went to check up all that is happening. Then suddenly, I shouted furiously while looking at the sign, “Ayah! Things have changed! We will have to pay at the tram ticket counter.” So we went and bought our tickets. The people there said that we can take only two rides and gave us the ticket. As a tram went by, we were chosen to get on. The others will have to wait. We passed many areas and I saw reindeers, mouse doers, tigers, lions, giraffes, elephants and many other animals. We stopped at the Team Park. Then, I saw many tigers there. First, I went to a little place and saw a goat chasing a monkey. Beside it was a black little goat. I thought that it might be its child but I am not that sure because the child was black and the mummy was white. I also thought that the mummy was friends with the monkey and was playing tag there. The monkey ran in a funny way that I laugh so much. But this is what confuses me; the monkey was supposed to chase the goat but anyway, the goat is much bigger. Then, as the monkey climbed a tree the goat didn’t want to lose the game, so it leaped up on a table and tried to catch. Then it went down and didn’t care. Instead, it lead the small child to its home and out came the real mummy. It was black, and the big goat was the daddy. After that, I went to a place where there is a jaguar. I was beside a man and his wife taking pictures of the jaguar and when the jaguar came straight to him and jump at him, (there was a fence in front of him to protect himself) the jaguar almost scared the man with fear. Then, I went another spot where there were two lionesses. One of them was shrieking with pain. At first, I thought that it was shrieking because the other lioness disturbed her. But then, I was wrong. As I followed it to the other side of the gate, it was terribly near! Then I realised what the wrong was. The one shrieking was ripped and I saw the flesh. By accidentally, the other lioness ripped the flesh. I felt pity upon it. But it was rather small, so I didn’t worry much. Then, it bathed at a small pool nearby. Then, after walking for a while, I decided to walk up a hill nearby. My mother didn’t want to go and said she will stay at the foot of the hill. So, me and my father walked on and saw a humpback camel. I keep showing my purple umbrella to let it come near so I can touch it, but I failed because it just keeps staring hard at my umbrella without moving a leg. When I reached the top of the hill, I saw a large group of orang-utan in a forest playground. I saw an orang-utan drink water from a bottle! How clever it is!!!! Then I went to another part where the glass was there and three orang-utans. First, I thought there were two! Then, another orang-utan appeared. So it’s three there! I waved to an orang-utan which was looking at me, and it turn away shyly. Funny thing!!!!! Then, I saw another orang-utan, climbing up the highest platform as if it was acting like a king! Ha!! Ha!! Then, I walked down the hill and saw my mother waiting. There was another path, leading somewhere. My father and I followed it. But my father said that it just lead to nothing. As we went back, my father took a few pictures of me. Then my father, mother and I took a tram and it started to rain just as we got in. Oh! A fine escape! And we went back to the same place where we started. I was going down the road and my parents followed. It was raining so I opened my umbrella. My father and mother had to share their own umbrella. We passed the picture corner and the people there let me pat the horse. So I went in and pat the horse which was lower than my shoulders! I touched the snake and saw a long fat snake. Then, I go back home and for lunch I ate laksa and ate ABC for my dessert. I ate mango too. For dinner I ate sardine with rice.
You’re Sincerely, Harlin.
