Teen Problems

Dear earthlings,
Woah. I've never posted an entry in what, months? I apologize, but I'm never much active with blogging. I only do it when I have motivation. That's just me. I get motivated at first, you know, "I'M GOING TO BLOG ABOUT MY LIFE EVERY SINGLE DAY AND HAVE TONS OF FOLLOWERS AND-", well yeah. Then I don't post for months. Typical me. This post's motivation was because Syasyaler made a blog. And I was like, "My poor blog? I should catch up and have my own social blog." I'm thinking of continuing posts, but I can bet it'll stop by next week latest. Well, I'll try to prove me wrong. TRY.
You must be wondering why my blog has no effing blurt-outs of teen problems I face. Don't get me wrong. I'm not perfect, I do have my own mistakes and problems in life. I know I hold on to the saying "everybody's perfect" instead of "nobody's perfect", but imperfection makes the person perfect. I, to be honest, have problems. But I hide it. I keep it hidden, I manage it. I'm too cheerful to be sad in front of people. I don't want people to see the weaker part of me. I'm honestly limiting my words here, I could describe everything in detail, but I want to keep it hidden and forgotten. I'm can even write it in my personal diary where I could keep it hidden under floorboards like in those movies, but I won't. I can't. It's a risk that's too high. I'm not talking about the basic "there's too much homework" problems, I'm talking about deep crap that varies. I will blurt out basic problems anytime, anywhere. :)
After UPSR Examinations in Standard 6, you would have a nice one year of Form 1 lounging around - no exams. In my case? I have to work TWICE as hard. I skipped a year and half in studies, what do you expect? I'm currently finishing Form 2. And they say, if you fail the End-Of-Year Exams, you might not go to Grade 9. ARGH! STRESS! And I thought everything will be a lot more after UPSR. And I didn't even get the End-Of-Year holidays! No, I straightaway got checked into Fairview because their school calendar is different. Effing calendars. Anyway, gotta run. Bye!

Sincerely,
Harlin.

The Crazy Turns of My Life

8.00 PM *yes, sharp at 8, buds*
Dear beautifuls/handsomes,
What a great day. I have been settling down in my new school. ;) Gawh, my exams results were TERIBBLEEEEE, I tell you. Hmph. :( But that's only because I came in late and missed out a year and a half, and have I got a lot of catching up to do. My parents excused me for this semester. ASDFGHJKL THANK GOD.
Apart from that, my school hosts expeditions twice a year. One would be OVERSEAS! Oh asdfghjkl! One will be a local location, which is Lumut. I'd be staying there for three nights. The Lumut Trip is in four days. GWEEEEEE! Way off, way off. My previous school never does night-long trips. Shocking, yes, but my first experience. *No wonder I'm excited* Oh well.
Okaaaaay, my "social" life? (notice the dripping sarcasm) Plarrggh. Well, I've buried my head in the computer screen. Actually, I'm sorta obsessed with online books lately. Love quotev.com and wattpad.com as my book-reading websites. Thanks for introducing wattpad.com, Syasya.
As a matter of fact, I'm weirdly in love with my bedroom lately. I've imprisoned myself in my bedroom, reading online books, blogging, sleeping. The only light in the room now is coming from the open door of my lightened bathroom.
Okay, before I head into a more rubbish conversation, I'd better stop blogging. ADIOSSS! In love with you readers, been loving you from the very first time you decided to have the heart to peek at my blog. ;) Yeah, sort of cheesy. Whatever.
In love with you forevah!

Lin.

Family Day 2012 - Cameron Highlands
12/18/12 | Tuesday, December 18, 2012 | 0 comments
7.00 PM
Dear blog,
Lately, I've been having a wonderful family day at Cameron Highlands. It was truly amazing, we had games and fun. Our family day has been set for three days, two nights, from the 14th to the 16th of December. Abang Ya, our cousin, which is also the chairman of this family day, booked two apartments at Parkland Apartments. It was honestly too beautiful for the price. The apartment was also settled on a hill overlooking the town of Brinchang. The freaky fact here was that the apartment had WiFi! And, guess what, we had family day shirts to wear during the occasion! Waaargh, what a complete set!
We only went to the market on the first day and arranged games at night. On the second day, the elders and the children went to eat scones and drink tea nearby a tea plantation, whereby the teens spent half the day hiking up Gunung Berembun. I got into the teens group. It was supposedly a 3-hour hike up and a 1-and-a-half-hour hike down, but we reached the peak in 2-and-a-half hours. Normally, the group would split into two. One would be the faster group, one would be the slower group. During the hike up, I was normally in the faster group but I had times when I was in the slower group. During the hike down, I was always in the faster group, which reached down half and hour earlier than the slower group.
That night, we arranged games too, but sadly, I fell asleep and missed all of it. Along with the games, there was also a lucky draw. Every family has to buy a present about RM 50. My family of three (yes, I'm the only child) bought a toaster. What we got was a mattress from Mak Ngah.
The next day, we packed up to go home. Some elders went to buy flowers. I asked my mum to buy white roses, pink roses and a few smaller flowers for me. Along the way home, we stopped to eat lunch, to pray at a mosque, to eat goreng pisang (a snack that is actually fried bananas which is popular at Malaysia) at a stall. And then we separated and thus, our family day was finished. *makes a sad face*

Anyway, below are some pictures and captions about it for you to observe. :)

This was when we reached the peak of the mountain. We ate some snacks
to celebrate our victory and to also fill our hungry stomachs before we
head back down.

This was a stop along the way, we've gotta have picture time!

Before we left for Gunung Berembun, we had a little family photograph session
with our beautiful family day shirts.

My cousin, Herah, had her sports shoe destroyed and torn. We had to replace
with a plastic for the moment. But after that, we changed the idea and decided
to tie it up with strings.

This is also another picture time along the way.

As you can see here, these are the backs of our beloved shirt.

This is me in jacks, I wore it after dipping some parts of my body into
the ice-cold river because I was so cold. Brrrr!

We needed to have a picture of us after we achieved our
mission.

We took a picture after having lunch before going back home. As
you can see, this picture was taken a split-second before I shoved
Marit's (my cousin) head out of my face. Too sad, or I would've been
seen clearly in the picture.

Another picture time while going up the mountain.

We young girls seem to be cheerful. :3

A picture of victory!

O.o I can see that the tree behind us is about to fall . . . but anyways,
good picture,

Another photo of victory!

The Pros and Cons of Bringing Laptops to School
11/25/12 | Sunday, November 25, 2012 | 0 comments
9.10 AM
Dear blog,
Hellooo, today I'll be talking about the pros and cons of bringing laptops to school. YES, I'm blogging in from school with my laptop. It's free timeeee, okay. Alright, so let's discuss.
So, bringing laptops to school? iPads can be included, too. Government schools don't allow pupils to bring laptops to school. Most international schools allow laptops to school. Which one is better? Well, it's gonna be quite a hard decision, but actually it's better to NOT allow laptops to school. I know, it's best to research the net for information to do their homework, but students may not use laptop entirely for that purpose. They can log in to Facebook, Twitter, etc. The schools can use the WiFi to block websites such, but you can't block Facebook applications on iPad. Faaaaaail. Students with computers can also use a proxy to get access. Faaaail, school, faaaaaaail. What I suggest? Well, I think schools should prepare computers which block those stuff and the school should watch over the pupils while they use the prepared computers. Sooo, I guess that is it. *grins widely* I have to do my homework assignment I haven't finished, bye.

Lin.

Blogging In From School
11/20/12 | Tuesday, November 20, 2012 | 0 comments
8.21 AM
Dear blog,
It's a real early time of the day. Maybe early for me, I guess. Well, literally, I'm in school, having art class. We're making lung models. I'm blogging in from my iPad, yes, my school allows electronic stuff, comps, iPads, maybe even phones. I'm not so sure about the phones. This is my third day of school, and I've known most people pretty well. My class has little students ~ perhaps only 20. So, I see some Mona Lisa drawings here, in this art classroom. xD Life's cool as a Fairview student. The cafeteria has got awesome food too, nothing compared to my previous school. Alright, maybe I want to log in Facebook after this.

Love From,
Lin.
